Steve became a solicitor in the United States in 2002 and immigrated to Australia with his wife (a native of the Sunshine Coast) and children in 2012. Since 2014 Steve and his family have called Gympie their home and are proud to be active members in this amazing community. Steve was previously a board member with several community-based organisations in the United States. Steve is passionate about helping the most vulnerable in our community and is proud to be a part of an organisation such as Community Action who share this same goal.

A native of Gympie, John has been a lawyer for over 30 years, and brings a wealth of knowledge in the areas of Estate Planning and Administration, Property, Conveyancing, and Commercial Law.

Bridget is a solicitor at Masters and Brown Lawyers, admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland in February 2025. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Sunshine Coast and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law.

Bridget began her legal career with the firm as a law clerk while completing her studies, and has since progressed to a solicitor role, practicing in Family Law, Estate Planning, and Conveyancing. She is particularly passionate about supporting clients through the challenges of separation, with a focus on achieving practical and timely outcomes wherever possible.

Originally from Dubbo, New South Wales, and later Albany, Western Australia, Bridget has called South East Queensland home for more than two decades. She brings a grounded, empathetic approach to her practice, shaped by a strong connection to her local community.

Outside of work, Bridget is an active member of the Gympie Gem Club, with interests in silversmithing, lapidary, and fossicking. She is also the proud owner of Collin, a spirited Border Collie cross who occasionally visits the office to the delight of both staff and clients.
